Liverpool stuns the Invincible City

City and Liverpool another classic

No one can deny that City are like bees you touch them (scoring first) they sting you hard. And so Liverpool did what everyone has done-scoring first but Liverpool had an antidote to the sting. They hustled City midfield which where their strength lies going forward. They were aggressive in winning the ball and attacked City relentlessly.

But the imminent champions displayed their never die attitude by equalizing before half-time; at this stage the neutrals would have yawned and said “we know what’s next”.

Liverpool came out of the change room guns blazing, they had vibrancy and attitude about them that showed no fear for City. And that paid dividends eventually. The “still downloading” champs fought hard to stage a come back scoring 2 goals in the dying minutes of the game; however Liverpool held to their 4-3 victory to end City’s unbeaten run of 23 games.
